Moore Bay Lodge is a natural setting for a retreat - a place of privacy, peace, beauty and fresh air. We have over 60 acres of pristine land, with hiking trails and even a field with farm animals that your children are sure to enjoy.

Listed below are some of the activities you can enjoy:

Take a kayak or canoe trip among the many islands and stop for a picnic or shore lunch. Discover the flora and see the trees growing out of the rocks.

Take a walk on our nature trails or around the field, which is abundant with wildflowers and is a bird watcher’s delight. Don’t forget your camera!

Go for a refreshing swim and afterward sit on your private deck, or BBQ, while you enjoy the marvelous sunsets.

Catch some fish! You will experience some of the finest fishing in Canada. Trophy Muskie, Northern, Walleye, Bass and Perch are waiting for you.

Sit back and relax in your modern and comfortable cabin while you read, paint, draw, play games, whatever you desire.

Play on the beach, with its shallow entry into the water, swim ladder and water slide off the dock.

If you would like to have a bird’s eye view of the Lake, float plane trips can be arranged.

Go for a shopping and sightseeing trip to Kenora, where a myriad of unique shops, boutiques, galleries, pubs and restaurants are awaiting you. Learn about the history of the region at the Lake of the Woods Museum, or see Kenora's unique past, which is narrated through 21 murals painted on buildings, many of which are histroic, throughout the city's core.
